Submissions

The American Interest welcomes your submissions of feature essays and reviews of books or films that fall within the magazine’s purview. Please include a summary of your piece and some information about yourself, including mention of any recently published work. We only review submissions that are not simultaneously under consideration elsewhere and that have not previously been published. Given the volume of submissions we receive, it may be up to a month before we are able to respond, and we cannot guarantee a response to every submission we do not accept.

Send an email to submissions@the-american-interest.com with the word “Submission” in the subject line.
